Refund Policy

At Double Take Collective, we are committed to providing high-quality pieces and a positive experience for every customer.

This policy is in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund under Australian Consumer Law.

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photo or video evidence

Once reviewed, we will organise a suitable resolution as quickly as possible.

Change of Mind

We understand that sometimes things don’t work out.

We offer change of mind returns within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • All tags are still attached
  • The item is returned in original packaging

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Pre-Order Items

As many of our pieces are made in limited pre-order runs, please choose carefully before purchasing.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind on pre-order items once production has begun.

However, your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply for any faulty or incorrect items.

Return Process

To request a return, please contact us via our Contact page with your order number.

If your return is approved, we will provide you with the return instructions and address.

Items must not be sent back without prior approval.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for funds to appear in your account (depending on your bank)

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your bank or payment provider
  3. If still unresolved, contact us via our website

Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If the item is faulty or incorrect, we will cover return shipping costs
  • For change of mind returns, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
